Wi-Fi municipal hotspots

Working principle

Wi-Fi hotspots are an excellent tool to communicate with residents
and tourists. When logging in, the start page can:

  • display messages important to the city,
  • encourage to visit interesting places,
  • inform e.g. about an upcoming event in the city or its vicinity,
  • display advertisements.

The service allows also to create analyses and statistics of Internet use by those logging on to the network and at the same time to control and block access to unwanted sites.

Smart lighting

How it works

As part of the service, LED luminaires are priced at the planned masts and drivers are installed, which are controlled in real time via a web platform, dedicated to municipal services. This renders it possible to easily configure the operation of the lamp, monitor energy consumption, as well as to receive alerts about possible failures.

Municipal services also receive a dedicated web application, by which they can configure the switching on and off of the lamps at the astronomical time, set the lamp dimming at specific times, or locate a fault.

LED lamp drivers

  • NB-IoT driver kits for lamps. Certification of devices in the T-Mobile laboratory.
  • Very good network coverage in urban conditions.
  • PSM (Power Saving Mode) feature in NB-IoT network.
  • Industry lighting control software. Secure connection via APN (Access Point Name) gateway, which separates devices from the Internet network.
